Quincy Medical Center Offers Free Community Education Seminar on Innovative Treatments for Hip & Knee Pain

Are you living with achy knees or hips? Quincy Medical Center may have a solution that will help.  QMC is hosting a series of free community information seminars to discuss exciting new technologies being used at Quincy Medical Center to help patients with knee or hip pain caused by osteoarthritis.

Quincy Medical Center is one of the only hospitals in the area offering MAKOplasty®, an innovative robotic arm technology for partial knee surfacing and total hip replacement surgery. Quincy Medical Center orthopedic surgeons will explain the potential benefits of MAKOplasty, which may include shorter hospital stays, more rapid recovery and smaller scars, as well as who are appropriate candidates for the procedures. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and see how the robot works.

The seminars will be held from 6-7 p.m. in the B/C Conference Room at Quincy Medical Center on the following dates:
