Holy Family Hospital to Offer Free Seminar on Controversies in Endocrinology

Endocrinologist Neil Ravin, MD will present a medical Meet the Expert seminar entitled Controversies in Endocrinology on March 4, 2014 in Holy Family Hospital’s ground-floor auditorium.

During the presentation Dr. Ravin will teach attendees how to:

        -critically evaluate standard recommendations for clinical care,

       - explain where guidelines come from, and

       - approach patients with an open mind about old and new therapies.

Typical endocrine disorders include diabetes, hyperthyroidism, disorders of menopause, PMS, low testosterone, pituitary disorders and adrenal disorders.

This presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.

One contact hour is nursing will be awarded at the end of the presentation.
