Are you parenting a child who has experienced trauma in their life? Want to learn more about how traumatic events can impact children? Want to learn to foster and promote healing and resilience?
This four-week program will address these questions and give parents a chance to learn from a trained social worker - and each other - how best to parent children who have experienced trauma.
This program is offered by Saint Anne's Hospital's Youth Trauma Program. It is free of charge but requires pre-registration. To learn more or enroll, call Jennifer Salem-Russo, MSW, LICSW, at 508-674-5600, ext. 2283.
The Youth Trauma Program is partially supported by the Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance through a 1984 Victims of Crime Act grant from the Office of Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs, and the U.S. Department of Justice.
