Laila Attar, MD, is board certified in family medicine. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Rochester, earning her Bachelors in Art in psychology and music therapy. She received her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School, where she published an article on WIC in the American Journal of Public Health. During her residency she co-authored the Monograph on Acute Myocardial Infarction, for which she received the M.A. Barton award.
Since opening her Pepperell office in 2003, Dr. Attar has provided excellent primary care for patients of all ages. Her approach to patient care incorporates the Biopsychosocial Model, taking into consideration an individual's life-style, economics, personal health goals, and social situation, with an emphasis placed on patient involvement, diet/nutrition, and exercise. Dr. Attar is accepting new patients, and accepts most insurance.
