What is the purpose of this trial?

The purpose of this study is to investigate patterns of RNA in the blood that may help distinguish different types of breast cancer from each other and from women who do not have cancer. By defining patterns in the blood that reflect actives genes, we may be able to design a test to identify breast cancer using a blood sample.
