Our center is the first hospital in New England to offer breakthrough CorPath® Angioplasty, a robotic-assisted angioplasty system along with some of the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures available anywhere, including heart-net device implantation and calcium scoring using CT technology.
St. Elizabeth's Medical Center holds a number of quality distinctions and awards, and scores competitively with surrounding Boston hospitals for quality measures in overall recommended care, overall heart attack care, overall heart failure care, and overall surgical care. Recently, St. Elizabeth’s was named the number one hospital in Massachusetts for interventional coronary care from CareChex, a division of Comparion® Medical Analytics. This distinction follows St. Elizabeth's designations from Healthgrades, which include America's 100 Best Cardiac Care, America's 100 Best Coronary Intervention, the Cardiac Care Excellence Award and the Coronary Intervention Excellence Award. In addition, St. Elizabeth's Medical Center is a Blue Cross Blue Shield Center of Distinction for Cardiac Care® and is one of only eight Massachusetts hospitals to receive a Cardiac Care distinction from Blue Cross Blue Shield, and one of three in the Boston area. In 2007, the center was recognized by American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines™ heart failure and stroke programs.
In addition, we offer access to numerous clinical trials, and patient, family and community support services.
