From day one of orientation, those who are interested in research are provided with mentors in their field of interest. Each department has numerous faculty members actively engaged in clinical or basic research. The residents and interns are encouraged to join these projects or to propose their own ideas. PGY-3 residents may also elect for a research block to work on their ongoing projects. Residents are encouraged to submit their work to national conferences and if accepted, the program helps to defer your expenses.
St. Elizabeth's is proud to host an annual Research Day. Learn more about our program here.
