Admissions Criteria

  1. Evidence of graduation from an approved high school or completion of a GED with a minimum standard score of 450 for each test.
  2. Minimum academic expectations at the high school level:
    • Math: 2 years with a grade of C or higher
    • Science: 1 year of laboratory sciences (Biology & Chemistry with a “C” or better)
    • Achievement at the 50th percentile is preferred for applicants with a General Educational Development equivalency diploma (GED).
    • Applicants whose native language is not English and who have not graduated from American high schools should achieve no less than 100 (internet  based exam), 600 (paper), or 250 (computer) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination.
      Transfer students:
    • One college -level math, Algebra 100 or higher
    • One life science with a lab (4 credits)

Admission is competitive. Each of the programs is a limited enrollment program. Prospective applicants should be aware that meeting minimum criteria does not guarantee admission.
