Surgical Oncology Team
The surgical oncology team at Good Samaritan Medical Center
experienced and compassionate physicians from Park Surgical Associates
located in Brockton, Mass.
Depending on the type of cancer being treated, our surgical
oncology experts use the most technologically advanced,
minimally invasive surgical techniques. Their specialties
include breast health issues and colon disease, among other
general surgery procedures.
The surgical oncology staff includes:
Paulson, MD, chief of surgery and chair of the
department of critical care surgery, has been treating
patients in the greater Brockton area for more than 30
years. Paulson specializes in performing breast cancer
surgery and breast biopsies. He earned his medical
degree from Albany Medical College of Union University,
completed his residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical
Center and a fellowship at the Maryland Institute of
Emergency Medical Services. Paulson is board certified
in surgery and a Fellow of the American College of
Corey, MD, chief of the division of vascular
surgery, earned his medical degree at Georgetown
University School of Medicine. He completed his
residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and
fellowships at the Boston VA Medical Center and Tufts
University School of Medicine.
Augustinos, MD, received his medical degree from the
State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed
his residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and a
fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Grotz, MD, chief of the division of colon and rectal
surgery, is a graduate of the University of Connecticut
School of Medicine. He completed his residency at
Hartford Hospital and a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.
Grotz is board certified in surgery and a Fellow of the
American College of Surgeons.
